Airmovers use a pneumatic supply to entrain atmospheric air for a high volume output. Quiet and extremely efficient, with no moving parts, they consume no electric power. Model types include:
The design uses a hollow unobstructed bore, which promotes a suction effect at the rear of the unit and a rapid expulsion at the front. This also means that they are useful for exhausting fumes, smoke, dust etc or conveying powders, pellets, offcuts or lightweight parts. AirMovers can be instantly stopped or started (ideal when used in an automated sequence), and improve the efficiency of using normal compressed air. Their output can be ducted for greater flexibility. They are safe, need no maintenance, and are available in a range of sizes and types to suit many applications. |

Airmotors are available in a range of torque outputs and rpms. They are comparatively small and lightweight for their high power output. Features of airmotors include:
Airmotors come in various sizes. Power outputs range up to 10 HP (7.5 kW). Lewis have both vane and radial piston models available. Options include gearing, mounting, and spindle variations.

Pneumatic valves need to be correctly matched with the requirements of an application. Lewis have a large range to choose from. Model types include:
For many applications, special safety valves need to be used. Click here for more info. |

Drills are available as hand tools, or as fixed automated units of various different types. All come in a selection of different RPMs and torques. Body types include straight, right-angled and pistol-grip. Reversible models are available and drive options can include chucks, collets, male or female threaded spindles. |
Pneumatic drill units are a self contained automatic drill that can be easily integrated into automated production equipment. Control signalling can be pneumatic or electric. They can accomplish fast approach, metered feed and peck feed requirements. Compact design, low noise and precise operation are built in features. |
For larger applications, electro-pneumatic drill units can acheive higher torque & thrust outputs. Options include front or rear mounting motor, pneumatic or electric switching and various tool holding arrangements. They are also ideal for multi-spindle heads.

Pneumatic tappers offer a compact, fast & reliable solution to tapping applications. A lead-screw design ensures consistent top quality threads for capacities up to M10 in aluminium or brass. Various torque & speed outputs are possible. |
For larger tapping jobs, an electro-pneumatic tapper offers the power of an electric motor to run the spindle whilst the feed is pneumatic. Built-in adjustable hydraulic controls allow the feed rate to be tailored to the pitch & rpm. A tapping collet or tapping spindle provides the necessary length compensation.

Rotary indexing tables are an air operated self contained unit for rotary product transfer and assembly automation. They are based on a pneumatic rack-and-pinion design which gives extremely accurate positioning and reliable service over a long period. Models are available to stop at up to 24 stations per 360 degree rotation. Plates vary from 160mm to 1 metre in diameter and speed control and end-of-stroke cushioning is included in the operating circuitry. There is also provision for electrical or pneumatic input & output signalling so they are easily integrated with other operations. Pneumatic pavement breakers are ideal for concrete and ashphalt demolition. Sizes and features vary across the range to ensure there is a unit for every job. Features available include mufflers, vibration dampened handles, built-in lubrication and directional exhaust. |
Pneumatic rockdrills allow holes up to 50 mm in rock or concrete. Reliability and rugged performance are built in. |
Pneumatic Knockers deliver a powerful shock impact by converting pneumatic energy into kinetic motion. This is ideal for silos & hoppers with material flow problems - especially where conventional vibrators or shakers are ineffective because of their more rounded action. Available in a range of sizes. |
